A classically-trained pianist, West Byrd began honing his prodigious talent at the tender age of five. Eventually gravitating toward the music of jazz legends such as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, and Miles Davis, West reflects their greatness in his unique artistry.

 West currently has two full length albums, his latest being "A West Byrd Christmas," which showcases a new spin on timeless holiday classics and some originals composed and arranged by West. With a professional career that spans almost two decades, West has been instrumental in creating live experiences for some of the world's most renowned artists, and now, it's his turn in the spotlight, SOLŌ.
